Engineered for Safety
Yale is renowned for providing safe lift trucks which are adaptable and flexible for many different applications and tasks. The ability to make and engineer models for enhanced safety comes from the new technology that is available in the company's experience and the material handling business.
Yale likes to integrate new technology that is available into their latest designs. Some of the new technologies that are available are first applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through durability testing and functionality. The company performs many controlled field tests and reliability development so as to make certain that their products are really safe.
In order to enhance overall safety, Yale has engineered and developed lots of new features, which have been incorporated on many models like:
Operator Compartment Controls and Ergonomics
The ergonomics within the operator compartment along with the controls are made with state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to guarantee that the operator avoids fatigue and heavy repetitive motions. These added comforts help to increase overall efficiency.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Adjustable operator controls allow the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machinery user friendly, regardless of who is using it. Before starting their shift, the operator can make sure she or he is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
Yale's hydraulic system operation referred to as the Operator Presence System prevents the operation of the equipment if the operator is not in the right operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on trucks that have internal combustion engines.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the LPG tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the operator's natural handling position making the tank easier to change.
