End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling business for their great flexibility. These equipment have superior performance features that are quite like sit-down electric forklift models.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse settings which have limited space. The space needed to use these machines are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck needs. These machines are an excellent alternative for applications which need frequent on and off access, as their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading device used by a variety of companies which maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers simple and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great alternative for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require for immediate use in an efficient and safe way.
The basic reach truck model is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades that move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The tines additionally include a hydraulic setup which enables the driver to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just provides much more balance to the whole load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
