Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck providing great height and versatility. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the person utilizing it to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the cargo to great heights. Standard forklifts can not move the load away from and towards the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly used in both agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a load. It is available with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck will normally utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A lift platform that is meant to raise employees is known as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forks on the forklift and a strap or chain is utilized to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
