Clark Forklift Specifications
Types
Pneumatic trucks, cushion trucks and narrow aisles are only among the different types of forklift trucks made by Clark. The different kinds vary in terms of the way they are powered. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts used for construction and agriculture run on an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle types designed for use inside warehouses and other confined spaces operate on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies based on the type. Forklifts that are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the type. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion kinds are recommended. They could carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 36 volt or 48 volt, are used to power Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustion or IC engine models have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion kinds have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and includes overhead protective cover for the operator, controls and the seat. The frame consist of the engine, fuel tank, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
